Jim has a very important job, abducted since age two, and has had many of the typical things happen to him, that medical science cannot explain, such as having scar tissue from a nose surgery that he had never had!
During one particular (MISSING TIME) episode, he was in such bad shape ~ that his wife had to bring him to the emergency room, bleeding from the eyes, nose and bladder; in the course of the subsequent events, it turns out that he was not only abducted by "tall grays," but confronted a rather nasty "PRAYING MANTIS" TYPE who was going to "teach Jim a lesson" of beiang more compliant, so he instructed the "tall grays" to make Jim remember the pain!
